The University of Iowa Graduate College offers a practical option for a Masters in Accounting program.
The MAc is a non-thesis program requiring completion of 30 semester hours beyond a bachelor of business degree.
Course work is offered towards four areas of specialization, and for those entering with an undergraduate degree in accounting, the program is designed to be completed within one calendar year. The program aims to prepares students for careers in public and corporate accounting or related fields including finance and law.
