Yale University, Master of Arts Program in International and Development Economics

Yale University's Master's degree program in International and Development Economics (IDE) has awarded degrees is an elite program, with only 700 graduates since its inception in 1955. The program is administered by tale's Department of Economics through its Economic Growth Center.

Curriculum is designed to provide academic training and field work to individuals interested in careers in economic development or international economics. Graduates often work in developing countries and with non-profit organization or multi-national corporations.

The IDE program offers two joint degree options as well. A joint IDE program with the School of Forestry & Environmental Studies, and the joint IDE program with the School of Public Health.
